A British actor and accomplished stunt performer who starred in and choreographed the Mini Coopers chase sequence in The Italian Job (1969), Ware developed a monopoly over stuntwork on British TV throughout the 1960s and 1970s through his company, Havoc, with its skilled crew of specialised stuntmen.
