A key figure in the post-war success of Adelphi Films, Dent ran the company bought by his father Arthur who produced movies with his other son David under its banner. Their output includes Comin’ Thro’ The Rye (1947), Penny Points To Paradise (1951) and Is Your Honeymoon Really Necessary (1953).
