Although best known today for playing matriarch Lily in TV series The Munsters (1964-66), De Carlo enjoyed a long film career. Diverse roles came in Brute Force (1947), Criss Cross (1949), Hotel Sahara (1952), The Ten Commandments (1956) and McClintock! (1963). She also scored a Broadway hit with Follies (1977).
