A British sports journalist and presenter who began his career as a newspaper journalist in Oxford, Bobin moved into television after joining Southern TV in 1975. He was best known for his work with Sky Sports from 1993 onwards, where he presented programming including La Liga football, Goals on Sunday and Sky Sports News.
