As musical director on Sunday Night At The London Palladium (1955-67) Ornadel worked with some of the biggest names in the business. He fulfilled similar duties at Royal Variety performances while also composing for the stage and scoring films such as Subterfuge (1968) and series including Sapphire & Steel (1979-82).
