Beginning her career on Val Guest’s The Body Said No! (1950), Clarkson went on to work in a range of key behind-the-scenes roles rising to production manager on films such as The Rebel (1961) and The Young Ones (1961) with later credits including Hanover Street (1979) and Rising Damp (1980).
