A larger than life character whose experiences extended far beyond those he portrayed on screen, Fawcett was a character actor who starred in countless European-based film productions. These include The 300 Spartans (1962), Shatterhand (1964), The Secret Of Dr Mabuse (1965), Kaliman (1971) and Up The Antique Stairway (1975).
