Bearing so famous a name Capra Jr inevitably found himself the proud protector of his father’s legacy. He was an associate producer on Escape From The Planet Of The Apes (1971) and various sequels, serving as producer on Firestarter (1984), Marie (1985) and others. Latterly he headed Screen Gems Studios.
