A British stunt performer who started out as a professional boxer, Nickels moved into stunt work after being asked to choreograph a fight. He received 8 SAG nominations for Performance by a Stunt Ensemble, winning for The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011), Game of Thrones (2011), Skyfall (2012) and Wonder Woman (2017).
