An American director best-known for directing two classic Second World War films starring Clint Eastwood, Where Eagles Dare (1968) and Kelly’s Heroes (1970), Hutton directed nine features including Zee and Co. (1972). Also an actor, Hutton starred in Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957) and Carnival Rock (1957).
