A distinguished actress whose tangled private life stymied a Hollywood career, Björk nonetheless enjoyed great success in her native Sweden, particularly in association with the great Ingmar Bergman. Her films include Woman Without A Face (1947), Miss Julie (1951), Waiting Women (1952), Loving Couples (1964) and The Best Intentions (1992).
