Belgian born actor, writer, producer and director Belvaux's reputation rests upon Man Bites Dog (1992) a mockumentary in which an earnest filmmaker and his crew follow a serial killer on his daily, deadly business. After this blackly comic hit he focussed upon commercials, combined with infrequent acting roles in features.
