A Scottish actress whose screen career began after the war, Anderson appeared in such films as Sleeping Car To Trieste (1948), Poet’s Pub (1949) and Scrooge (1951). After marrying actor Gordon Jackson her later work includes The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) and the television series Bachelor Father (1970-71).
