Alexander Faris

A British composer whose career began as a comductor for the stage, Faris began composing soundtracks in the 1960s for films including He Who Rides a Tiger (1965). His best known work was undoubtedly The Edwardians, which served as the theme tune for Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-1975).
