In 1962, The Society Of Film & Television Arts, paid tribute to the collosal achievements of the film Lawrence of Arabia.
Part of the Academy's tribute involved dedicating a whole issue of their annual publication 'Journal' to the film. It was the first time such a tribute had been made and was a mark of respect for the film's "imaginative eneterprise and exceptional degree of organisation".
The publication includes interviews and editorial from the following contributors; Sam Spiegel, Robert Bolt, Peter O'Toole, John Box, F.A. Young. Anne V. Coates and David Lean.
