71 days to go - Lupita Nyong’o and Michael Fassbender hug at the ceremony in 2014
In 2014, Lupita Nyong’o was nominated for both Supporting Actress and the EE Rising Star award for her performance as Patsey in 12 Years A Slave (2013). In an interesting coincidence, her co-stars Michael Fassbender and Chitwetel Ejiofor had both previously been nominated for the Rising Star award in 2009 and 2006 respectively!
Nyong'o will next be seen in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens in 2015.
