Games developer BioWare specialises in role-playing, strategy and MMO games, including Star Wars: The Old Republic and Mass Effect. Drs. Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk are BioWare’s co-founders.

One of the common profiles of new emerging art-forms is that they're never originally recognised as art.

In the full video, available to watch now on BAFTA Guru, Muzyka and Zeschuk begin from their central argument that games are a form of art, fitting in with Tolstoy's definition of what art does. They also discuss the idea of non-linear narrative in games, referring to the original Baldur's Gate PC game and the latest innovative Star Wars gameplay, and take questions from the audience.
