That Game Studio were the winners of the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award in 2011, presented annually in association with Dare to be Digital.

The 2011 BAFTA Ones to Watch Award was presented to That Game Studio for their impressively innovative game Twang!.

Team members Jocce Marklund, Annette Nielsen, Marcus Heder, Linus Nordgren and Thomas Finlay accepted the award at the GAME British Academy Video Games Awards on 16 March 2011.

Twang! was commended for the game's success at combining best use of technology, market potential and innovation.

Twang! Is a multiplayer platform racing game, developed for Xbox 360, supporting up to four local players. Offering a cute and colourful visual style and a mixture of fun and simple gameplay mechanics, it is aimed at all ages.

Ones to Watch Award Nominees in 2011

Dare To Be Digital Logo white backgrThe three nominated teams were selected after a rigorous jury process over the summer of 2010. They were chosen by a panel made up of some of the top names in the computer gaming industry including Charles Cecil, Managing Director of Revolution Software and Gareth Edmonson from Ubisoft, as well as representation from BBC, Blitz Games Studios, Codemasters, Denki, Develop, Rare, Realtime Worlds, Rockstar North and Sony. The nominated teams were announced at Dare ProtoPlay on Sunday 15 August 2010.

Mush by Angry Mango

This atmospheric 2D platform puzzler takes full advantage of the Windows Phone 7 tactile inputs, including touch-screen and accelerometer technology. Players can stretch Mush’s facial features with their fingertips to alter his emotions, shake him into a blind destructive rage and tilt the phone to move him around the world.
