The acclaimed Scottish actor and star of Trainspotting and The Full Monty talked about his diverse career in film.

Multi award-winning actor Robert Carlyle has become known as one of the UK's most talented and versatile actors. With over 60 film and television credits, he has appeared on screens in a wide variety of roles - from the psychopaths in Cracker, Bond and Trainspotting to Sheffield’s most famous stripper in The Full Monty.

Carlyle recalled auditioning for 'master manipulator' Ken Loach on his break-through film Riff-Raff, talked about his approach to the roles of psycho Albie Kinsella in Cracker and Bond villain Renard, and divulged his theory on the secret life of Begbie in Trainspotting.
