The Orange British Academy Film Awards in 2012 marks the fifteenth year of Orange's partnership with BAFTA. Olaf Swantee, CEO of Everything Everywhere, the company behind Orange, talks about the company's ongoing involvement.

Olaf Swantee, Everything Everywhere CEOAs CEO of Everything Everywhere, the company behind Orange, I am proud that this is our 15th year partnering with BAFTA. The Orange British Academy Film Awards
is the pinnacle of the film world and continues to be the most respected and credible film event in the UK. The Awards recognise the best of domestic and international cinematic talent and we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on, and support the exceptional achievements across the industry.
As lead sponsor we have our own award, The Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award , which identifies and showcases the stars of tomorrow. Established in 2006 the award has provided a platform for emerging talent of the time, such as James McAvoy (2006) and Tom Hardy (2011) .The longlist for the award is selected by an industry jury and a shortlist is selected by Orange customers, before the public select the ultimate winner by voting in their thousands.
The Awards recognise the best of domestic and international cinematic talent and we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on, and support the exceptional achievements across the industry.
I would like to thank this year’s jury for their time, knowledge and commitment in selecting the longlist of eight Rising Stars: Pippa Harris (Jury Chair), Charles Gant, Nina Gold, Jamie Graham, Colin Kennedy, Kate Lee, Hannah Marriot, Sienna Miller, Alex O’Connell, Simon Pegg, Jonny Pile, Allon Reich, and David Yates. Orange is committed to supporting the film industry and celebrating the fantastic benefits film brings to us all. We love sharing great films with our customers and enabling more people to enjoy them. Orange Wednesdays, now in its 9th year, continues to provide our customers with the opportunity to share films with the people they love through our weekly 2 for 1 offer.
In 2011 we launched a new service, Orange Film To Go , which offers Orange customers a complimentary film rental via iTunes, every Thursday. As a company with technology at our disposal, the new service now means Orange customers can watch films at home, or on the move, in turn supporting the film industry.
The Orange British Academy Film Awards provides invaluable support and recognition to the international film industry. We hope that through a shared passion for film we will be able to continue to recognise new talent and enable more people to enjoy films at home, in the cinema or on the go.
