Steve McQueen - Carl Foreman Award Winner in 2009

Steve McQueen received The Carl Foreman Award at this year's Orange British Academy Film Awards on Sunday 8 February. The Director/writer was presented the Award on stage by actress Thandie Newton. The Award has been presented annually since 1998 in recognition of special achievement by a British director, writer or producer for their first feature film.
