We asked you which actress has received the most Film Awards nominations from the Academy.

The answer is Meryl Streep with 13 nominations. Dame Judi Dench and Maggie Smith both have 12 nominations, although including the Television Awards Dame Judi has received 24 BAFTA nominations and Maggie Smith 16 overall.

Competition entry closed on Monday 8 March and the winner was Alyson Guy from Kent.
