      <title>RSA Digital Shorts Screening Showcase</title>
      <description><![CDATA[Tue 09 Feb 17:30<br/><br/><p>Come to BAFTA to see short films selected from the UK Film Council's Digital Shorts scheme.</p>



<p>From the 8-10 February, the Regional Screen Agencies will take over BAFTA's screening room to show short films selected from their Digital Shorts slate of films. This is a must-attend event for anyone with an interest in new filmmaking talent.</p>



<p>The Digital Shorts scheme allows filmmakers across the UK to make innovative short films using digital technology. It is funded by the UK Film Council and managed by the Regional Screen Agency network.</p>

      <title>Dubplate Drama + Interview</title>
      <description><![CDATA[Tue 09 Feb 18:15<br/><br/>Join us for this very special evening with the cast and creators of the new film version of Dubplate Drama, the world's first interactive television drama, where the viewer decides the plot.<br> 



<p>Following the interactive  screening the writer and director Luke Hyams,(<i>Lonely girl 15, Kate Modern</i>) will be interviewed by Miranda Sawyer.</p>



<p>Join us in the Rich Mix bar after the screening where Dubplate Drama's favourite up and coming group Marvell (featuring MC's Vertex, Double S and Shocka) will host an evening of old and new UK Grime, garage and Funky sounds from all three series of Dubplate Drama! </p>



<p>Please note this that a shorter version of this feature length episode was originally broadcast on C4 in 2009 as the season finale.</p>

      <title>Marc Craste in conversation at Animated Exeter</title>
      <description><![CDATA[Sat 13 Feb 20:00<br/><br/><p>Best known to the British public for his delightful animated commercials for Lloyds Bank, Marc Craste is an award-winning animator in the design and direction of short films and in corporate commercials.</p>



<p><img src="http://static.bafta.org/images/originals/aelogo-plain-logo-6245.jpg" align="right" width="150">His short film <i>JoJo in the Stars</i> won the 2004 BAFTA. In 2009 he was nominated once again for <i>Varmints,</i> a film of the book he illustrated, by Helen Ward. Marc will appear at the Festival in conversation with Helen Brunsdon.</p>

<p>Join BAFTA and Sky for this overview of the 3D TV, which is coming to the UK very soon. Aimed at TV practitioners and producers who have little or no knowledge of 3DTV, this taster session will demystify 3DTV - the creative possibilities, the business opportunities and the practicalities.</p>

 

<p>A stellar panel of experts in 3D production will focus on the practical aspects, followed by a discussion with the main Sky channel heads, exploring what they are hoping to commission.</p> 

 

<p>There will also be drop in sessions where you can look explore practical techniques involved in editing for 3D.</p>
