The nominations have been announced for the British Academy Children's Awards in 2014 and the competition is looking tight!

Leading the way with three nominations is Katie Morag, a CBeebies drama based on the books by Mairi Hedderwick. Star if the show Cherry Campbell, who plays Katie Morag, is nominated in the performer category facing competition from Bernard Cribbins (Old Jack’s Boat), Akai Osei (4 O’Clock Club) and Kia Pegg (The Dumping Ground).
Ceremony hosts in 2013, Sam Nixon & Mark Rhodes are nominated once again in the Presenter category, going head to head with fellow BAFTA-winning double-act Richard McCourt & Dominic Wood, comedian Iain Stirling and wildlife presenter Naomi Wilkinson.
Junior Bake Off, judged by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, picks up a nomination for Entertainment. Other nominees in the category include Hacker Time, hosted by Hacker T. Dog, and game shows Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge and Swashbuckle.
