The Special Award
23 December 11
The Special Award honours individuals who have made a significant contribution within their sector, as well as those who may not otherwise have received the recognition they deserve. It is awarded to individuals or teams for outstanding contribution and was introduced to mark significant devotion to our industries outside the constraints and categories of the Awards ceremonies.
The Award may be presented at ceremonies or at special events to an individual. In exceptional circumstances, companies or bodies, or specific films, programmes or games may be presented with the Special Award.
