Tom's Story

Tom Holland, actor (Spider-man: Homecoming) became a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2013 and was one of 17 talented individuals selected by a jury that included Felicty Jones, Eddie Redmayne, Shane Meadows and Abi Morgan.  

At the time Tom was making his breakthrough as an actor known for his starring role in The Impossible alongside Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor. He had just been cast as Spider-man in the new Captain America film due for release in 2016.

Tom was mentored during his Breakthrough Brits programme by Gravity and Harry Potter producer David Heyman and actor Cillian Murphy.

Tom has since made overwhelming progress with his career and in 2017 Tom won the EE Rising Star Audience Award at the EE British Academy Film Awards.
