Jodie Comer

BAFTA-winning actor Jodie Comer joined broadcaster Edith Bowman in conversation at Fortnum & Mason to explore her journey into the industry and some of her defining roles to date.

After gaining recognition in Doctor Foster (2015–2017) and for her BAFTA-nominated performance in Thirteen (2016), Jodie’s role as Villanelle in Phoebe-Waller Bridge’s spy thriller series Killing Eve catapulted her to global stardom and her first BAFTA Leading Actress win at the 2019 BAFTA TV Awards. Jodie later starred in Help (2021), the Channel 4 drama that brutally portrayed the Covid crisis in the British care system, for which Jodie earned her second BAFTA Leading Actress win in 2022.
