A redeveloped 195 Piccadilly will enable us to deliver a greater variety of new talent initiatives and learning events. Our plans for the building include:
- Adding a whole new floor and doubling the capacity
- Installing the latest technology throughout
- Upgrading and changing the layout of all current spaces
A new learning hub
The redeveloped building will provide new multi-purpose learning spaces, two screening rooms and an exhibition gallery. This will create an environment in which the public and industry can experiment, play and learn with innovative media, moving-image art and new technology.
The new hub will accommodate a variety of learning activity for those who are interested in film, games and television. It will be suitable for groups of any level, including industry professionals, career starters, schools, families, youth groups and universities.
State-of-the-art technology
The vision for the updated building is that it will house the latest technologies, including state-of-the-art computer suites, audio-visual equipment and mobile, PC and console game facilities for both learning programmes and industry events.
Working with our partners and collaborating with the wealth of talent using 195 Piccadilly, we will increase the production of learning content for online audiences, reaching an additional 4m people online.
