Chiwetel Ejiofor

On Wednesday 17 January 2018 , we welcomed acclaimed actor and star of 12 Years A Slave, Chiwetel Ejiofor for a conversation with BAFTA Film Programme Manager, Mariayah Kaderbhai. 

Over a glass of champagne and canapes, the Circle had the chance to hear about Chiwetel's pathway into acting, his love of Shakespeare and experiences working on films such as Amistad, Dirty Pretty Things and 12 Years A Slave. 

After the Q&A Chiwetel stayed to meet the Academy Circle patrons as well as special guests including Jack Fox and BAFTA Scholars Sade Malone and Kalungi Ssebandeke. The evening was held in the wonderful surroundings of Fortnum & Mason.
