BAFTA Debuts Tour
Part of BAFTAs charitable work is supporting the heritage of film, games and television for future generations. In 2016 we received generous support from the BFI and the Heritage Lottery Fund (both awarding funds from The National Lottery), the Independent Cinema Office and Into Film to tour the work of seven directors recognised by BAFTA for their debut feature around the UK.
Our aim is to build a renewed interest in British film, an appreciation for stories from underrepresented voices, as well as awareness for BAFTA’s commitment to growing new talent.
